About The Reserve At Sunset Horizon

Our Story

My wife and I founded The Reserve at Sunset Horizon  and the honest truth is, this home exists because of my dad.

When his memory started to go, we did what most families do: we held on as long as we could. We rearranged schedules, hired help, childproofed the house all over again. And then came the day every adult child dreads the day we knew he needed more than we could give him at home.

Looking for the right place for him taught me more than any business plan ever could. We toured big communities with beautiful lobbies and activity calendars, and they never felt right. The place that did feel right was a small residential home a real house on a real street, where the caregivers knew his stories and how he took his coffee. He wasn't a room number there. He was Dad.

That experience is why The Reserve exists. Not market trends. Not a business opportunity. A promise: to build the home we wished we'd found sooner, here in Denton, for families walking the road we walked.
